Chris Grimaldi

Lt./Pmdc. Chris Grimaldi has over 22 years of experience in the Fire Service.  Lt. Grimaldi started his career with the Douglas County Fire Department in 1994 before becoming a 2nd generation City of Atlanta Firefighter in 2005.  Lt. Grimaldi is currently assigned as an Instructor at the Atlanta Fire-Rescue Training Academy supervising recruit training.  Lt. Grimaldi has been Lead Instructor in seeing over 300 recruits progress through the Academy into Field Operations.  Lt. Grimaldi has an AAS in Fire Science Technologies.  Lt. Grimaldi is also the Lead Instructor for the Department’s Flowpath / Flashover Program, to which he has trained several hundred students from departments all over Georgia. Lt. Grimaldi is married to his wife of 12 years, and has 3 children.
