Instructor Tom Hancock

Tom is a 21 year veteran of the fire service. He is a Captain with Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services where he has served for 20 years. He has worked as a part time firefighter for the Roswell Fire Department, Bartow County Fire Department, and the Pickens County Fire Department. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Fayette County and Gordon County Fire Departments. During his career Tom has served as a Company Officer as well as a Training Officer assigned to the Training Division. Tom has instructed training classes at Firehouse Expo, FDIC, MAFFC, and the East Metro Atlanta Firefighters Conference. He has an Associate Degree in Fire Science from Coosa Valley Technical College, a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Reinhardt University, and is enrolled in the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.
