1 p.m. — 5 p.m. & 8 a.m. — 12 p.m.
This four-hour class will teach you the basic and advanced techniques of forcible entry. We will focus on maximizing the hands on time for each student that is needed to build the confidence in these techniques. Topics that will be covered include: inward/outward forces, restricted space and limited visibility. Students will also cover metal cutting and carriage bolts.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bunker gear, helmet, gloves, eye protection
INSTRUCTOR: Rick Meyers is a retired Captain from the City of Atlanta with 28 years experience. He worked as a firefighter for Company 10 and then Squad 4. He was promoted to lieutenant and captain, working on E-19, Squad 4 and Company 38. He is also the partner with East Coast Rescue Solutions.
