Tactical thermal imagining
Tactical Thermal Imaging is an 8-hour class that has been taught by the SFR cadre for many years at MAFFC. The class was updated in 2019 with new instructors and new curriculum. The skill sets that will be covered in the year’s H.O.T. presentation will include the basic understanding in thermal imaging, oriented search tactics, VEIS and operating in hostile environments, along with water application on the fire. This is a live fire class.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bunker gear, helmet, gloves, air pack, mask
INSTRUCTOR: The instructor Cadres includes members ranging from the rank of Firefighter to Battalion Chief, with members that specialize in the study of thermograhpy on the Fireground. The memebers have trained locally, regionally, and nationally and bring over 100 + years of combined experience in the fire service.
